Fine markers are very easy to carry with you, most anywhere, especially for meetings or lectures (where most of the doodles in this gallery were completed). Doodling, it seems, has become an alternative form of note-taking for me. My doodles take on the ambiance of the setting, thoughts passing through my head merging with subject matters being discussed. End product: a doodle poem or reflection accompanying the doodle. Naturally, colors and size are restricted when you're creating something under a desk and wish to be discrete. But that doesn't stop ideas coming thick and fast. With significant mental stimulation, creations emerge that wouldn't in a quieter more private space. Because of my doodles, I remember lectures I've attended in ways others might not imagine—and often with greater clarity.
